As seen on the Huffington Post:
Patrick Mahomes Accidentally Tweets Mean Note About Aaron Rodgers After Injury
Last night, new New York Jets quarterback (and future Hall of Famer) Aaron Rodgers suffered a season-ending torn Achilles tendon injury in the first few minutes of the game.
Fellow quarterback Patrick Mahomes, of the Kansas City Chiefs (also a likely Hall of Famer), mistakenly sent a tweet that said,
“Hate that man. Praying for the best.”
He made an edit to state what he actually meant:
“Hate that, man. Praying for the best.”

What Mahomes did is a mistake that can be most likely categorized as a “slip,” where he knew the correct punctuation and just made a mistake. Maybe he was in a rush.
Or, it’s possible that it was a “knowledge based” mistake, where somebody had to point out to Mahomes after the fact that it, well, seemed a little mean as originally written.
“Knew i was going to need that edit button on here one of these days,” Mahomes replied, along with a laughing emoji.
We all make mistakes, even the reigning Super Bowl MVP!
I hope that makes you feel a little better about your mistakes.
